  Goals: Israel x2, Luke

  Valiant performance against top opposition — we battled right till the end. After conceding in the first 3 minutes and then again 10 minutes later we managed to pull one back through Israel before Rushall went 3-1 up just before half time. Second half Elite came out and created chances, but all our pressure was denied when Rushall added a fourth. That didn't deter the lads, who battled bravely and scored again when a darting run by Noah down the right found Israel in the box to slot home comfortably. We suffered a setback when Rushall made it 5, but again Elite never gave up and a sweeping corner by Lucas found Luke in the box to make it 5-3. Very unlucky not to get a result today.

  Goals: Luke

  We held our own for the first 25 minutes, then a mad 15-minute spell in which the lads lost all control left us 5-0 down five minutes before half time. We got one back just before the break — a corner whipped in by Harry and Luke snatching the chance to scrape a goal. Half time gave us a chance to regroup and we came out for the second half fighting. A lot of lessons to be learnt from today.

  A comfortable win with some good minutes in the legs of the players.

  Goals: Israel x2, Lucas

  The lads dominated the first half and went toe-to-toe with a side a division above us. The second half tailed off a little, but the performance, determination and character shown against stronger opposition was excellent and gives us plenty to build on.

  Elite dominated from the first whistle and created chance after chance. The scoreline doesn't reflect how one-sided the game was, but the lads kept their discipline, played some excellent football and fully deserved the win.
